I only found this error because my system crashed so I was browsing through events searching for the one that caused my crash but this wasn't it. It's a $4 item.The below suggestion is a long shot for a possible workaround if you ae not using RAID. Summary:The HAL error/warning although irksome, is harmless in Windows 7 & earlier.
