When running manually you are probably launching a 32bit CMD.EXE which finds the 32bit "xcopy" command ... "Copy" works because it's internal to both CMD versions ... I've seen similar issues that were only solved by using the UNC path, for exactly the same reason. --Phil. The batch was using the "move" command, sending files from a local disk source to a mapped drive destination. I thought the "move" command may have been the limitation.
