I have been shitting my pants trying to install my newly downlaoded fonts on WIn10 and indeed I had (ofcourse) disabled Windows Firewall, and my fontmanager could not "access/read/render" the font Also the top solution does not work for me. Cannot Install Font Does Not Appear To Be Valid
I see several similar questions to this on this forum and others, but they all end with advice that has not worked for me. Same as above, doesn't appear to be a valid font or the font file is invalid. I can't imagine that they did not modify it as necessary to work with Windows 7, but perhaps. So it looks like my git cloning of the repository is causing some messed up permissions to be set upon placing the font file in Windows.
