Based on what you are seeing, I'd say the drive is faulty and not responding properly. When I try to initialize the disk I get an 'Incorrect function' error. Is this a bug or an indication of some esoteric error that the disdk manager can't deal with? Tried reformatting it in command prompt...(fifth attached pic)...cant create partition primary...im assuming because the drive is not initialized what is my next step?
That will confirm if the actual HDD is faulty, or just the enclosure. I will try plugging it to a desktop PC and see what it returns me this time. Came back and now one of my HDD is not working (Model listed above). If it's under warranty, you may want to have it replaced. What is the format of the disk? Doesn't matter if it's moved or even disconnected.
