Windows 7 Error Noise
For some reason, at completely random times I hear the Windows error sound (Dunk). I unmuted it and disabled notifications in Chrome browser settings and it fixed the problem. Eventually when your sound goes off just check Process mon and it will show the new entry at the bottom of the list. But if you ignore him (apparently) he occasionally scratches himself, which causes an intermittent noise.

Did early assembly games use hardcoded memory locations?
