Which disks have you tried? It is a member of the Microsoft Partner Program. I have a Pioneer DVR-218, but I don't think that will make a difference in fixing my problem. I have tried to burn another project and that works OK .

Once, once only, I managed to get the whole thing done only to find the completed DVD had large holes with no data at all in it!!! Just in case I did check Device Manager, its all good. I would rather not download and install additional codecs. ie: C:\Users\******\AppData\Local\Temp\AuthorScript*****.tmp Have opened the video file in WMC (Media Centre), works fine, no audio but that's still seperated at this point, so no worries there).

I have given up and gone back to my other computer to use the previous moviemaker and had to reedit the entire movie, since Moviemaker 2003 doesn't recognize files from 2007!!!! From experience making a "picture and music" DVD, 74% is about when it starts burning, or when it merges the video and audio to make the vob file/s.
