This works for word 2007 only ,it seems that somehow there are two versions of MS Office 2007 on my system ,and when you start an office application the install/configuration pops and without any results :o( And today your advices help me to solve this problem !!!!! Then close the registry ,and try starting WORD. The installer would show up - (as usual) but the NEXT time it didn't.
