It says that I installed the correct codecs, but it still won't play. FIXED! The media I'm trying to play is all CD's ripped by WMP, or wmv files (movie and game trailers) downloaded from the web. Vlc Unidentified Codec It did upgrade however when I tried to play the media file it cameback exactly with the same message.
