Windows Media Player Rip Status Error
Here's how to do it. And I am very disappointed that dBPowerAmp has failed me when it comes to disks with even the slightest of flaws. It seems to much easier than EAC and my small experiment (five CDs. A corrupt Music library causes the error to occur because Windows Media Player cannot create files in folders linked to a corrupt Music library.
Don't worry if this fails - you can always fix the tags easily using Mp3tag. But that doesn't mean it will work for everyone. Can be a bit difficult to properly convert back to another format without key tools at your disposal. Me - I live for the best possible audio (and metadata storage) experience and WMP is not even a part of my thought process. does this software you mention give you bit perfect rips?
I would have expected it to mean when an error arises WMP slows down the ripping and re-reads to try and get the audio data.
