Windows Server 2012 Essentials Dashboard Won't Open
If the incorrect zip file is still on our server, do we need to first delete it before running the wizard, or will the wizard simply write over the incorrect zip Please log on as a network administrator and try to open the dashboard again. When the member above Lynn said they created a new account, it worked because ALL new user accounts are set to primary group of "Domain Users". Copy the folders Program Files, Windows and the file Password Change Notification Service.msi to the Desktop 5. That includes Linux, BSD, UNIX, etc.
In the end, just this past Thursday night, I was forced to enable AD SYNC. Since this is normal behavior, what I did was to remove the gupdate service from the Services drop down in the Services Detail View. As long as you have the user in Domain Admins group, and primary group set to either "Domain Users" or "Enterprise Admins" -- it will always work.
