Additional Information: The error described in the Issue section occurs because the hard disk drive uses 4096-byte sectors to achieve greater disk density.

Seagate has a program from Acronis called DiscWizard that works on 4K sector hard drives. KB hotfix was applied, but Windows Backup utility still gives same error code, 2155348010.
Just a heads-up regarding Iomega eGo 1TB Portable Hard Drives. That's way beyond my level of expertize (but maybe not yours). Keep in mind you will probably have to go into disk management still and initialize the drive (Right-click My Computer>Manage>Storage>Disk Management) I also did use it as a GPT, I don't External Hard Drive With 512 Bytes Per Sector Select the hard disk that is the backup destination. 5.

Another problem is that discovering whether or not the drive you are about to buy has a 4K sector size is not easy.
Microsoft just realeased a hot fix to resolve advanced fromat disk drive issues (4096 hard sectors).
I did a quick check of about 10 disks online and couldn’t find a single one where the manufacturer listed the bytes per physical sector in the specs anywhere. So my disk management page looks like 3 DISK's right now DISK 0 is 500GB for my server O/S, DISK 1 is 3.6TB GPT RAID-5 which is may share drive and Open the Dashboard 2.
